Korean temple art and decoration is eye-popping and a natural subject for fine art photography. My Korean Buddhist temple photographs focus on the colorful decorative art of the temple architecture, which abound with Buddhist symbolism, complex architectural detail, and colorful paintings and sculptures of exotic animals and guardian figures. My Korean temple art photographs are from Sangwonsa and Woljeongsa, both in Odae-san (park), Beopjusa in Sogri-san (park), and Beomeosa. All are in South Korea.

I also take fine art photographs of architectural features in many foreign countries I have visited in addition to Korea: Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Mexico, Guatemala, and much of Africa. In addition, I search for an intriguing use of depth in my photography, but not the traditional illusion of real space.  In this pursuit I have also manipulated the Korean temple art imagery to create unique photographs of surreal spaces, which can be seen in my Strange Spaces exhibit.
