My Carousel Horse Photography
My carousel horse photographs are inspired by my love of color, sensual decoration, and dynamic composition. I have photographed some of the outstanding carousels in the United States and try to honor this wonderful form of folk art. My carousel photography includes both in situ photographs that capture the horses in their colorful surroundings and restless motion, as well as formal carousel horse "portraits" with plain backgrounds. In some cases I edit the photographs to include abstract backgrounds.
