My photography of Mexico focuses on color, texture, architecture, and other abstract images, along with street scenes, religious photographs, scenes from colorful markets, and photographs from Mayan. Aztec, and other pre-Columbian archealogical sites, such as Tikal, Teotihuacán, Uxmal, Kabah, and El Tajin.
I also take fine art photographs of everyday images and decorative architecture in the other foreign countries I have visited in addition to Mexico: Guatemala, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, and much of Africa. My photographs capture the richness of pattern, color, texture, and decoration that I see around me. In addition, I search for an intriguing use of depth in my photographs, but not the traditional illusion of real space. The result is surral photography such as my mannequin images.
