My photographs of doors and windows from Mexico focus on texture, color, abstract form, and decorative detail. My other photos from Mexico and Guatemala include street scenes, market scenes, religious photographs, colorful textiles, and photographs from Mayan, Aztec, and other pre-Columbian archealogical sites, such as Uxmal, Kabah, Tikal, Teotihuacán, and El Tajin.
I also take fine art photographs of everyday images and decorative architecture in the other foreign countries I have visited in addition to Mexico: Guatemala, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, and much of Africa. My photographs capture the richness of pattern, color, texture, and decoration that I see around me.
